More Information
Saint Thomas More House of Prayer is beautifully situated in a rustic setting far removed from the noise and distractions of the city. The retreat center is constructed mostly of hardwood and is very warm and welcoming. Our accommodations are simple, yet beautiful. There are a total of 14 rooms with various bedding arrangements. We have a large dining area with a commercial kitchen, an extensive library of spiritual classics, and a large common area with a hearth that is great for fires in the cold weather seasons. Best of all, we are blessed to have a beautiful chapel where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved and where the Liturgy of the Hours are prayed daily beginning at 5:30am and ending at 8:00pm.
While individuals and groups are welcome to "bring their own retreat," we invite all our guests to come and have the unique experience of praying the Liturgy of the Hours with us (a retreat in and of itself!). You can see the full schedule here.
We have a fully equipped sacristy if groups have a priest who would like to celebrate Mass, hear confessions, and/or expose the Blessed Sacrament for Adoration. We also have an apartment available that can accommodate clergy and religious.
