That is why our mission has always been to pray and promote the Liturgy of the Hours, the public and communal prayer of the Catholic Church.

Many have found that, left to our own methods and techniques, a life of prayer is very difficult to sustain. Most would agree that we need to pray more and we need to pray better! But how do we pray?

How do we pray in such a way that draws us closer to the heart of our Lord, satisfies our desire to share in the communion of saints, and transforms the way we live our daily lives?

 

The good news is that Christ himself has provided His Church with a prayer that promises to do just this! The Liturgy of the Hours deepens our relationship with Christ, binds us to the faithful of every time and place, and sanctifies our day through the sacrifice of praise. And because it is a prayer that originates in the very heart of Christ, it also comes with supernatural grace that accomplishes more than we could ask or imagine in our lives and in our world.
