This is the Liturgy of the Hours in four volumes.
 
It contains the complete texts of the prayers for the lesser Hours (those Hours other than Morning and Evening Prayer), such as the Office of Readings and the Hours during the day.
 
We usually encourage beginners to start with Christian Prayer. However, those that pray the lesser Hours regularly come to appreciate its fullness.
 
It comes with its own Guide and has different pages than the one-volume Christian Prayer.
