I'm not really sure how to pray the Hours, will someone be able to show me when I'm there? That's why we are there. You will be an expert in it when you go back home! Guests are expected to pray every Hour listed in the schedule. (Each Hour only takes 10-15 minutes.) We are so convinced that the Liturgy of the Hours is crucial to the work of the Church, based on the Second Vatican Council, the Catechism of the Catholic Church , and the writings of Pope John Paul II. How long does one of the Hours take to pray? On the average, about 15 minutes. Praying all seven Hours takes about one and half hours per day. Do you offer daily Mass? No, Holy Mass is not offered on a regular basis; though from time to time priests do come to celebrate Holy Mass, whether when retreatants arrange for one to come for their retreat or priests themselves make an offering.
